The NITOWA would like to express their sincere thanks and delight to the event sponsors and supporters that picked up and covered the World Indoor Championships 2023.
The event which was held in the Jim Baker Stadium, Templepatrick, from Wednesday the 8th of March until Saturday the 11th of March pulled in an unprecedented amount of press coverage and was was live-streamed to 20,358 people worldwide over the course of its four days.
The championships boosted the local economy by £300,000, and the Association is extremely proud to have a raised £2000 for The Mary Peters Trust.
With coverage across TV, Radio, local and International Newspapers, the widespread news of the event has also helped the Association and local teams see a resurgence in interest in of Tug Of War.
