Northern Ireland Tug of War Indoor Championships 680kg 2023

Saturday, November 25, witnessed another gripping battle of strength and strategy in the 680kgs Championship. The teams, having already displayed their prowess in the 600kgs category earlier in the day, returned to the arena for a closely contested showdown.

Once again, the familiar contenders—Slieve Croob, Country Club, Richhill, and Ballyhegan—stepped onto the ropes for the 680kgs Championship. This time, the competition was even more intense, with only a few points separating each team during the group pulls.

Semi-Final Showdowns

The semi-finals proved to be a showcase of strength, with Slieve Croob facing off against Country Club and Ballyhegan challenging Richhill. In closely contested battles, Slieve Croob and Richhill emerged as the stronger teams, securing their spots in the much-anticipated final.

Nail-Biting Final

The final unfolded with nail-biting tension, as Richhill and Slieve Croob battled fiercely for the 680kgs Championship. The competition was neck and neck, with minimal separation between the teams.
